Have you left an item on the bus or train?

ZVB
Ask at the ZVB counter in the Reisezentrum Zug whether your item has been found and handed in. Found items will arrive at the Reisezentrum Zug the following day at the earliest and can be collected from 10.00 a.m. onwards.

  • no telephone information can be given for gloves, hats and umbrellas.
  • Food cannot be stored.
  • for items found outside our vehicles, please contact the Zug Police (easyfind.ch).
  • for items found on the train or at an SBB station: SBB lost property centre (sbb.ch/fundservice / 0800 401 401)
  • Closing time before public holidays 5 p.m.(www.zvb.ch/fahrplan/feiertage/)

  • Free of charge: children's items up to 6 years
  • 5.- per item: bags, rucksacks, clothing, umbrellas etc.
  • 10.- per item: mobile phones, laptops, keys, jewellery, watches, wallets (valuables)
  • 20.- per item: electronic devices (mobile phones, laptops, iPads, iPods) that have been identified and placed with the help of the IT department.

SBB and SOB
Lost property on the railway is managed by SBB. At SBB, customers can conveniently report lost property themselves using a form at www.sbb.ch/fundservice.

If you submit your loss report online, it is free of charge. If you submit it via Rail Service 0848 44 66 88, you will be charged 8 centimes per minute. At the counter, you will be charged CHF 15 for reporting the loss.

If SBB finds your item again, you will pay a return fee. This depends on which travelcard you have taken out or whether you have taken out a travelcard. You can also find the prices at www.sbb.ch/fundservice.
